NO! It's our Last Lesson with Izzy

Today was our last hip hop lesson with Izzy. Once we arrived to the hall Izzy told us "Sorry we are not going to do a warm up because we already lost time and I want to show you a new dance lesson. "
But since it was the last lesson we wanted to make Izzy horoned, so she thinks we have done exotic. So we got right in to it, she counted off, five, six, five, six, seven, eight. Then we tried our best dancing with the hotness. But then she called up the girls to dance and she chose the two girls who is laina and Natstarzia. Then she called up the boys and chose two of them who is Sale and Tama. Then she chose one boy that was good and one girl who was superb, then gave them a lollipop. But everyone thought it was unfair, but it wasn't because Izzy gave us a certificate, also with a free 7 day pass to dance at papatoetoe.

Another one!

Today I remained the same, because my I haven't been on my uncle's chromebook for over a month. But at least I managed to get 87%. But my target is to get 90% to 100%.

Kapa Haka Festival

On November 24, at Ruapotaka marae students went there to celebrate te kotuku festival. Which was our school that particted out of 16 other schools, for a competition.    

Three Sticks

Today I played three sticks with my friends, Iraia and Sione for twenty minutes. The key to this game is to make the sticks spread out wide so your opponent can’t reach. But if you can’t reach your disqualified or even touch the stick. This game can make you exhausted, like the boy on your left top corner. I think if you play this game you might get addicted to this because it is very enjoyable. Also this game is for free because you'll just need three sticks.

Celebration Starts Come On!!!

Today I've improved. Yesterday I got 72% and now i got 77%. I've been improving because my result on fraction size and multiples and factors is always above 7. But by the end of the term I would like to get 100%.

Improved by 5%

Today I've upgraded. I had 70% last week and 75% this week. I've enhanced because I determine how to do fraction size surpassing. But to achieve my goal which is getting 100%, I have to study on all of the equations I struggle on. 

Hip Hop Dance Lesson Two

Today my class and I had our second lesson of hip hop in the hall. The lesson conductor name was Izy. She is very fabulous at dancing like shes famous. She taught us new dance moves and games last week and we're looking forward to someone new games.

First we warmed up while we listen to the music and the music made me real hype to dance. But the reason why we had to warm up is so we don't pull a muscle.

Next we played rock, paper, scissors. But without our hands. Izy demonstrated the different types of styles how to do it. Paper is when you make your arm like a bracket, scissors is like hugging your imaginary friend, and rock is when you crouch down and put your hand on the ground.

Finally we played last activity. The activity was follow the leader with different types of dance moves. But every time the music stops the leader has to go to the back so everyone gets to have a turn. When it was my turn I ran as fast as I could doing circles while the students was inflamed telling me off.

Once we finished all of the activities she showed us how to do the abc's with our arms. After we finished I was exhausted but I still enjoyed it.

     

       

Earthquake Drill

Basic Facts

  

Today I did my first basic facts assessment for term 4. I am very disappointed in myself because I've remained the same. I've remained the same because I didn't learn anything in the holidays and that was two weeks off so that's a long time I didn't learn. But I would like to get a higher result so I have to keep on practising. By the end of the year I would like to get 100%. 

The Feast Day

One surprising moment, last week my mom won the lotto, she was like a millionaire and she asked me “Do you want KFC or Mcdonalds?” And I said “KFC of course,” then she said “Should we have our meal at the beach,” then I replied to her “Yes but with our whole entire family.”

So first, my mom went on her amazing car and dashed to KFC. So my uncle and I setted up the mat on the hill so we could so we could have view of the beach and we also waited until my mum arrived.

Next, my mum approached with the food and my sisters so we can organize the food, the potato gravy belongs in my mouth so we didn’t need to worry about it. But once I inhaled the coleslaw I moaned because we were like enemies and it tastes so awful but I still had to eat it because my mum told me to not waste food because it cost money.  

Then, once we finished eating my mom decided to spend the rest of the money on dessert. We had ice cream and we all chose the chocolate flavour because it's delicious.

Finally, we finished our delicious dessert and went home with an unhealthy stomach, but we still enjoyed it.   

How to Compost in the Winter

This term my group of friends made this project, their names’ are Sosaia, Iraia and Jaiden.  Our inquiry investigation question was how to compost in the winter. First, we used the internet to research our topic. Then we constructed this project. I did the cutting for the snowflakes and painting for the cupboard. We used cupboards, blank papers, a bucket filled with browns and greens and tissues for the snow pile.  I found the painting easy because my friend helped me. But the part when we had to find browns and greens was difficult because they’re was hardly nothing. This project teached me how to compost in the winter even though it’s like a freezer. Next I’d like to investigate what is the maximum length of an earthworm.

Prototec T3W10

Today I went backwards by two percent, I went backwards because I never practise with my mum on fraction size. I never practise with my mum because shes always busy with her work. But when it comes to holidays I could practise with her and try to improve when it comes to term four. If I improve on term 4 my mum and I will be very joyful.     

Tessellation

Today I had to complete both sides of my tesselation colouring. It took me 2 days to complete this, this colouring active was easy because you just needed to repeat the colouring that you used in the past. I  used blue, orange, green in the left screen shot and I used yellow, green, blue in the right screen shot. We use tessellation for houses. Also bee hives are a tessellation. Tessellation is used around the whole country because people love doing tessellation, its very similar to art and art is kind of a hobbie to other people.

Robot Attack!

I done this art in 1 day it was fun trying a new thing that i've never done before, this style was also made from Karl Apple. Robots remind me of my dad because he likes doing robot dances.  This was very simple because you just had to add shapes into it. Once I finished I was amazed that I could draw a robot.

Hot and Cold Colours

Today we had to complete a colouring sheet. We had to draw diagonal lines on the sheet. Then we had to pick where you want to put the hot or cold colour inside of the bird or the background, I chose the hot colour inside of the bird, so you put the cold colour in the background. Once you finish it would like the screenshot of mine. Also this art style was created by Karl Apple a famous artist.

Celebration!

Today we were revisiting our goals, and according to my maths result i've improved on number. On term 2 I got 3P, but now I got 4B. Then when I saw that my happinest bursted out of my soul like I was gonna pass out.

Joyful Day

Today was the best day of my life. I have received another box of favorites, filled with delicious chocolate. Also my friends was joyful they were like the happiest person on the planet .

Prototec

Today I have improved. I’ve improved because my sister and I plays basic facts games most of the time. Next week I would like to get 100%. To get 100% I have to study on the questions that I struggle on, like fraction size.

Maori Language Week

Today Is Maori Language week and we played Maori actives which were fun. I will test you if you know Maori Language but you can't look at the screen shot. heihei hipi nanenane pi figure out those words that I struggled with.

Tongan Language Week

Today was the final day of Tongan Language week. We had fun learning Tongan phrases with Ms Tuakoi, I will give you some of the phrases she taught us. The first word is malo, malo means thank you in Tongan, Next is ko hai ho hingoa, which is what is your name in Tongan finally sai pe malo which is I am fine thank you. In our class we had four students prepared in their costumes for the last day of Tongan language week and today Ms Tuakoi will able to give us tongan meals which is really popular.

Birthday Boy

In Korea in 1951 there was a war. The village was empty like human beings had never existed on earth. There was only a defective jet and flawed abodes. Korea looked like a landfill filled with rubbish material.  

Unlucky Day

Today I have remained the same because I haven't been practising at home with my speedness. I haven't been practicing at home because my young uncles chromebook is broken and needs to be established. I think by the time the chromebook gets fixed I should improve and get a higher quality score.

Daffodil Day

Today we are remembering about the teachers from Glen Innes School who died from cancer. Siaosi Tongilava and Whae Emily died from cancer. It is really sorrowful to hear about. I also remember a day that Whae Emily congregated me when I got something wrong and she gave me a treat for trying my best. This also reminds me about my first papa brawling through the pain, yelling and trying to live but then one day he got weak and he couldn't fight through the pain so he gave up then passed away.

Maths Games

I was playing a game of matching fractions with decimals and percentages.  I had to match 2.0 and a picture that showed 200 squares. This game was easy for me because I learnt how to do fractions, decimals and percentages. Next , I would like to learn challenging math games that will help me to use when I go to a higher level.

Puzzle maker

Today we had to make a game, puzzle maker. First we had to write the words about compost. Then give clues about it. When you are done give it to your friend so he can solve it. 

Ninja Chicks

This week we revisited writing a summary and taking notes. My teacher read this story to us and we had to write a summary using the ‘W’ words.

Mama got taken away from a fox, so Hansel and Gretel went to the dojo to become a ninja so they can save her. They knew how to attack, they knew how to protect themselves. Once they got back home, it was filthy it was like a pig been living in their house. They thought their papa took a birdnap. Then they saw footprints so they followed it. While they followed the footprints they left crumbs behind so they will know there way back. The light faded away and Hansel and Gretel got lost. Eventually, they found a light. But they saw his papa trapped inside a cage. So Hansel escaped with papa and mama while Hansel escaped Gretel fought the fox and trapped him in the cage.

Reflection:

I understand the ‘ walht’ but find it difficult to write the summary in my own words.

Te Tuhi art gallery

At Te Tuhi we did 3D art collage it was super fun. All of the 3D art looked amazing. It was fun because we could use our imagination. With magazine paper then cut out the things you like. 

What We learnt in Pak n' save

Room 8 and I went to Pak 'n Save to meet Adele from the Heart Foundation. We had to see which was good or bad food. We knew how to work which was good or bad because all of the information was on the wrapping. Information was for 100g.  

Pak n' save

When we got to pak n' save we met Idle so we could learn and be healthy and make good choices with what food we should eat. The food what I should not eat is treats and chips. Also the food I should eat is fruit and veges also you could to be strong, fit and healthy.

Peanut Butter Biscuits

1 cup of softened butter, 227 grams.

1 cup of smooth peanut butter or crunchy peanut butter.

1 cup of chelsea white sugar.

1 cup of Chelsea Soft Brown Sugar, firmly packed

2 eggs

2 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp of baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

Utensils:

Hand mixer

Teaspoon

Method

1. Slice butter into little cubes.

1. Put butter into a big mixing bowl .

3. Then add a cup of peanut butter into the bowl.

4. After that mix it with a hand mixer.

5. Pour 1 cup of white sugar and brown sugar into the bowl.

6. Crack 2 eggs then pour it into the bowl.

7. Add 2 and a ½ cups of flour.

8. Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and baking powder.

9. Mix it again.

10. Roll it like a ball.

11. Then decorate it.

12. Place it on a tray and put it in the oven for 12 minutes, 80 degrees.

On term 1 I did a maths test online. It was quite difficult but I managed to get a 3p from going through all of those hard questions.

Prototec Timed

This week I went backwards, because I wasn’t fast enough at doing the answers like fractions and percentages were the answers that I was struggling. But I am going to practice prototec timed every day just for 15 minutes. Next week, I would like to get at least 100%. By the end of term 2 I hope to be at stage 8.     

The Wishing Bell

The wishing bell is when you wish for something. Then you we'll have to hit the bell with the rope, then it will make a sound, sounding like this DING DING!. Then you have to train for it and your wish will come true.

Lotus flower

Lotus flowers grows in muddy water. Also the Lotus flower can blossom on long stalks if the flower looks like it's floating. It is also known as india's national flower and buddhism and hinduism rich people.
