The making of my pendant

Every Tuesday we go to Tamaki College to experience what work is like at college. I am currently in Mr Grundy's class. In this class we do  hard work material, which is creating things with wood. Today I proceeded to the next level which was cutting out my design, when we finished we would show it to the teacher for his approval  to move on to the next stage.  According to google research pewter is "A alloy of tin with copper and antimony," (Formly, tin and lead)
While the pewter is melting he would go help other students that are struggling.   To get his attention we would yell MR! to notify him the pewter is melted. When that role is completed he would turn off the gas burner than pour it into our design helded up by another piece of wood. We would wait for at least 5 to 10 minutes for our pewter to set.  After that we would take the pendant out than smooth the edges which is where I am currently at. But hopefully I would complete my work by next week.
